CONTEST ENDS: Friday, March 20,2015 | DRAWING DATE: Monday, April 6, 2015
All proceeds will benefit the Auditorium Theatre’s unique program,
“Hands Together, Heart to Art.”
Now entering its eleventh year, “Hands Together, Heart to Art” is the Auditorium Theatre’s summer arts camp for children who have experienced the death of a parent. The camp uses the performing arts to help children interact with others who have suffered similar losses, communicate, and gain self-confidence. To date, we have welcomed over 900 girls and boys from all walks of life to this one-of-a-kind program. Each summer 100 campers participate in “Hands Together, Heart to Art,” and all of us at the Auditorium Theatre are honored to help them grow, learn, and heal.
The Auditorium Theatre, an Illinois not-for-profit organization, is committed to presenting the finest in international, cultural, community and educational programming to Chicago and to the continued restoration and preservation of our National Historic Landmark Auditorium Theatre.
